A hot water tap was turned on for fifteen minutes, causing the natural gas flame to create just enough light in the room to record an intimate still life. Through the use of a long exposure, the jet of water becomes a frozen form, revealing the tension between the intimacy of the still life and the burning of gas in the boiler.
